Michael L. Pescatore

Mr. Pescatore graduated Rutgers University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended the Seton Hall University School of Law where he graduated in 1988 Magna Cum Laude and Associate Notes Editor of the Law Review, having authored the Student Article of the Year in 1988, "Search and Seizure-Warrantless Search of Public Employee Work Area for Work-Related Purposes and Seizure of Personal Property Does Not Violate Fourth Amendment (O 'Connor v. Ortega, U.S. (1987))" Seton Hall Law Review, Vol. 18 No. 4, page 1019. Mr. Pescatore was then admitted to the New Jersey Bar during his judicial clerkship in 1988-1989. He is also licensed to practice law in the United States District Court and Supreme Court of New Jersey.

He is also a prior officer of the ATLA-NJ Board of Governors (now known as the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice), and is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, and the Passaic County Bar Association.

Mr. Pescatore was also previously designated as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. He has substantial experience representing personal injury victims, and a reputation as an aggressive litigator. He has tried many jury and non-jury trials to conclusion in the areas of general negligence, automobile negligence and products liability. During that time, he has achieved substantial settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients, including but not limited to:

• Slip and Fall/Sussex County): $ 600,000
• Trucking Accident/Middlesex County) $ 525,000

Mr. Pescatore has been previously named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list, which acknowledges the top five percent of attorneys in each state, (2004 - Present)
